Now is the Time to Take Your Country Back. This is what you can do personally to help.
Take back your country now. Tired of the Congress, Supreme Court and President taking more and more control of this country? Tired of having no say in where your tax money gets spent? Wondering how in the world do these clowns get elected over and over again?
What can you do? Some say revolt others say a new Boston tea party, most think there is nothing we can do legally. Now is your chance to do something for your country instead of just complaining. The constitution provides the people with a perfectly legitimate way of setting an oppressive Government straight. The constitution provides Article V where the states can call a convention attended only by the duly chosen representatives of each state to propose and vote on amendments to the constitution. The President, Supreme Court and Congress can have no say in this. So that means we can repeal the 16th amendment income tax and vote for a fair tax, we can vote for a balanced budget amendment and vote on term limits for Senators and Congressmen.
The founding fathers knew the day would come when the federal government would be either too arrogant or inept to do what the people desire so they wrote Article V into the Constitution a safety net to correct the Federal Governments failings. Read on and included at the bottom is a form letter to email your State legislatures to petition for a Constitutional Convention. The time to take action now and stop complaining your Country is worth it.
For over 200 years, Congress has not done what Article V of the United States Constitution says it "shall" do. Congress has not issued a call for an Article V convention of state delegates to consider constitutional amendments, in response to two-thirds of state legislatures asking for one.
That numeric requirement - the only specified requirement in Article V - has been satisfied, with 50 states submitting over 500 requests. Such a convention operating under authority of the Constitution would be a fourth, impermanent branch of the federal system, not beholden to the three permanent branches.
There is no uncertainty about what the Framers thought the nation needed. In crystal-clear language they laid out a two-step process for amending the Constitution. First, Congress or an Article V convention of state delegates craft proposals for possible amendments.
Second, ratify proposed amendments by three-quarters of the states, either through their legislatures or state conventions, as Congress chooses. The Framers believed that Americans, acting through large numbers of state legislators, deserved a way to circumvent the excessive power of Congress or its refusal or inability to satisfy sovereign citizens - their bosses. No role was given to the federal judiciary and executive branch in amending the Constitution.
An Article V convention is a clear threat to the political, social and economic establishment exerting self-serving influence on Congress. It can put into public debate ideas for amending the Constitution that threaten established political forces, both liberal and conservative. Acting independently, it can courageously propose amendments without interference from defenders of the status quo.

According to Article V of the US Constitution,
The Congress, whenever two-thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution ... which ... shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three-fourths of the several States.
The President has no formal role in the amendment process.
The Constitution has been amended 27 times, including the original Bill of Rights. Subsequent amendments abolished slavery; gave Congress the power to tax; implemented and then repealed Prohibition; and gave women the right to vote. The most recent constitutional amendment prohibits a congressional pay raise from taking effect during the Congress in which it was adopted.

Call for Convention to propose amendments to the United States Constitution
To the Honorable Representative ___your state representative_name______ I ____your name_____ a citizen of the United States and the state of ____your state__ request that a house resolution be offered in the State legislature to call for a Convention to popose amendments to the United States Constitution as afforded under Article V. I as others have had enough of the gross mismanagement of our nations economy, and believe that the current progressive tax code is unfair and detrimental to a viable economic recovery, in addition it remains questionalble under the 14th Amendments equal protection clause most notably the phrase "equal status in the legal relations of the private economy". How can a progressive tax rate that can penalize one taxpayer over another simply because they had earned one cent more then the other.
Overview The framers of the Constitution wanted a means whereby to bypass a potentially unwilling Congress in the amendment-proposing process. They thought that there could be circumstances in which Congress might ignore valid pleas to amend the Constitution.
At the outset many of the Framers were loath to give Congress a monopoly over the amending process. On May 29, 1787, the Virginia Plan, the prototype from which the Constitution evolved, was introduced to the Constitutional Convention at Philadelphia; it included the following resolution: "Res(olve)d. that provision ought to be made for the amendment of the Articles of Union whensoever it shall seem necessary, and that the assent of the National Legislature ought not to be required thereto." George Mason, one of Virginia's seven delegates, argued from the floor of the Convention that it "would be improper to require the consent of the Natl. Legislature, because they may abuse their power, and refuse their consent on that very account." Mason added that, "no amendments of the proper kind would ever be obtained by the people, if the Government should become oppressive."[
Congress is required to call a convention after the submission of applications by two-thirds of the states (currently 34 of 50). The Amendments that need to be offered at this convention and ratified are listed below: Fair Tax Amendment and repeal of 16th Amendment
The FairTax is a proposed change to the federal tax laws of the United States that would replace all federal income taxes[1] with a single national retail sales tax. The plan has been introduced into the United States Congress as the Fair Tax Act (H.R. 25/S. 296). The tax would be levied once at the point of purchase on all new goods and services for personal consumption. The proposal also calls for a monthly payment to all family households of lawful U.S. residents as an advance rebate, or 'prebate', of tax on purchases up to the poverty level.[2][3] The sales tax rate, as defined in the legislation, is 23 percent of the total payment including the tax ($23 of every $100 spent in total—calculated similar to income taxes). This would be equivalent to a 30 percent traditional U.S. sales tax ($23 on top of every $77 spent before taxes Balanced Budget Amendment The Balanced Budget Amendment would amend the United States Constitution by requiring -- through law -- that Congress pass a federal budget that balances projected revenues and expenditures, with certain exceptions (notably, a time of war). Senate and House Term Limits Amendment
The nation's Founders strongly believed in rotation in office. They left term limits out of the Constitution because they did not foresee that politics would become a career for so many people. Short term limits would remedy that mistake. Nothing is more important today than reversing the pernicious rise of a professional political class. _______________________________________________________________________________________ A Sample House Resolution for application for a general convention has been supplied below for your state representative. ________________________________________________________________________ H.
